5G in Pakistan: Pakistan amongst first countries to test 5G Technology
Pakistan is soon going to join the list of countries which will test the latest 5G technology for the very first time.
Zong has already applied for permission to launch 5G in Pakistan for the test run. It is also told by some sources that zong has been granted permission to lauch 5G in Pakistan.
5G technology uses 5GHz spectrum and it is expected to get a speed of about 1 Gbps or even more exciting speeds. After being run on experimental basis, this technology in being prepared to launch for the common users around the world.
Pakistan’s federal mininster for information technology, Anusha Rehman, in a conference in Islamabad, told that Pakistan will get 5G technology by 2020. She was addressing the “Asia Pacific Regulators Round Table 2016”. She confirmed that a company in Pakistan has started to test 5G in Pakistan and is working fast to include Pakistan among the first countries to test 5G technology.
Previously a report revealed the slow speed on LTE technology in Pakistan, placing Pakistan on fourth-slowest speed proving country on LTE. Lets see that how much speed is brought by 5G in Pakistan.
